Stainless Steel 409 Channel is composed primarily of chromium (10.5-11.75%), which provides moderate corrosion resistance, along with iron as the base element. It also contains small amounts of manganese (≤1%), silicon (≤1%), and nickel (≤0.5%), with limited carbon content (≤0.08%) to enhance weldability. Titanium (0.5%) is added for improved stability and resistance to intergranular corrosion. Mechanically, it has a tensile strength of 380 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 20%. Stainless Steel 409 offers excellent thermal stability, durability, and cost-effectiveness, making it ideal for automotive and structural applications.
