Stainless Steel 347 Sheet and Plates is an austenitic steel containing chromium, nickel and niobium, providing excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. Its content is typically 17-19% chromium, 9-13% nickel and 10-12% niobium. The addition of niobium contributes to the stability of the steel, making it suitable for use at high temperatures. The mechanical properties of stainless steel 347 include 515 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength and 40% elongation. It is also highly resistant to high temperature oxidation and scaling, making it ideal for harsh environments.
