420 Sheets and Plates made of Stainless Steel contain mostly iron with 12-14% chromium and controlled levels of carbon, manganese, silicon, and sulfur. The martensitic stainless steel grade provides high hardness, good tensile strength, and fair corrosion resistance. It can be hardened by heat treatment to enhance the mechanical properties like wear resistance and toughness.
